The Band

Randall & Chad started Copperhead Highway in mid 2013. They later added Zane on Bass and Banjo, along with Randy on Drums and Mandolin.

The history of how we ended up doing this is undeniably an act of GOD! Randall and Chad started working together in 2010 in Woodstock, Ga. Both have been in the car business for years. They knew each other played guitar through occasional chats, but were both living lives not becoming of Christians. The Lord had enough of Chads' debouchery (who was raised a pastors' son and whose mother has performed Southern gospel for over 25 years) and under conviction, he rededicated his life to the Lord. He immediatly started performing at church. He kept inviting Randall to come, so just to shut Chad up,Randall came and he fell in. "It felt like home," Randall says. After a couple of months Chad was praying one day and the Lord told him to remind Randall of the promise he made to God. "The clearest voice I've ever heard" Chad said. Reluctantly, Chad asked Randall if he ever made a promise to God while he had cancer. Randall immedietly said no, leading Chad to think he was crazy! Later that night, Randall told his wife Kathy about it, and Kathy reminded him that in fact Randall promised God that if He would heal him from cancer that Randall would spend his life singing for the Lord. To top it all off, it turns out that both of their families are from Southern West Virginia and Randall went to school there with several of Chad's cousins! God had a plan, and we can't wait to see what it is!

"Randy and Zane are an intregal part of what Copperhead Highway does, and allows us to switch from Southern Gospel to Bluegrass in a flash. We are so thankful that the Lord put them in our path. If you ever get a chance to talk to them, you'll see that Lord shines through both of them."-Chad
