Zane Tanner--Bass/Banjo

 

I grew up with a passion for music, especially for playing the guitar. At thirteen my dad gave me my first guitar and I devoted myself to learning for hours a day. I felt that I had peaked at age seventeen and hit a wall, so to speak. At age eighteen I chose the wrong path and got caught up in the ways of this world. I became a father, and my devotion to the guitar was quickly replaced with all the wrong things. Fast forward a few years, and in 2013 I felt something was missing in my life. I started attending Glade Road Baptist, and it wasn't long before I learned exactly what was missing in my life. One morning in Sunday School, I realized that I needed Jesus to save me. Shortly after getting Saved and Baptized I started playing with the praise team, not knowing that God was preparing me to join Chad and Randall. I joined Copperhead Highway in June of 2013 and the guys taught me to play Bass guitar and I am developing on the banjo now. I really enjoy using my talent to glorify the Lord!
